The average salary of a software engineer at GCCs (Global Capability Centres) ranges from $18000 to $ 45000 for someone with an experience of more than seven years, revealed ANSR report. Reportedly, those with experience of three to seven years earn between $8,750 to $27,500 while the ones with fresher to three years of experience earn between $7000 to $14,000. 

The salary ranges for various tech roles vary significantly based on experience levels. For positions such as Front End Developer, entry-level professionals with zero to three years of experience can expect to earn between $7,000 and $14,000 annually. As they gain more experience, the salary for those with three to seven years jumps to a range of $8,750 to $27,500, while seasoned professionals with seven to 10 years of experience can earn between $18,000 and $45,000, the report added. 

It further revealed that GCCs plan to hire 50% more freshers as compared to last year while also showcasing trends that revealed that only mature GCCs with non-tech roles recruit freshers for affiliate roles such as finance, marketing, HR, etc. Additionally, it was also found that core tech positions are filled by product companies or peer GCCs.

Back-End Developers also see a similar trend in salary progression. For those starting out, the salary range is between $7,500 and $15,000. As experience increases to three to seven years, salaries rise from $10,000 to $31,250, and for those with seven to 10 years of experience, the range extends to $20,000 to $48,500. Furthermore, Mobile App Developers can expect starting salaries of $9,000 to $16,500, increasing to $12,000 to $37,500 for mid-level experience and reaching $24,000 to $52,500 for advanced professionals.

The report further added that Full-Stack Developers and Python Developers follow a similar pattern, with entry-level salaries ranging from $8,500 to $16,500 and $7,500 to $15,000, respectively. Mid-level salaries for these roles range from $11,000 to $36,250 for Full-Stack Developers and $10,000 to $37,500 for Python Developers. For those in Machine Learning Engineer roles, the salary ranges start at $10,000 to $18,750 for beginners, rising to $15,000 to $52,500 for mid-level professionals and reaching as high as $38,000 to $75,000 for those with extensive experience. This data highlights the competitive nature of the tech industry and the value placed on experience and skill development.
