Weekends are all about downtime. After a week full of work to meet deadlines, everybody needs some breather to relax and recuperate. From watching a favourite web series to planning a vacation, weekends are designated as family and me time. Siddharth R Dungarwal, founder, Snitch, talks to BrandWagon Online about his weekends, favourite vacation destination and more.
What is the one thing you like to do when not working?
When I’m not working, I usually pick up a good book to read or take time to network with like-minded founders—it’s always interesting to hear different perspectives and ideas. Sometimes, I like to keep things light and just relax with my team on the office terrace. Those moments of unwinding with them are a great way to recharge.
How do you spend your weekends?
Since I work almost six days a week, weekends are my time to slow down and catch up on things that matter. I spend quality time with my family, which always feels grounding. I also visit retail stores to observe the customer experience firsthand and chat with them—it gives me a fresh perspective. And of course, I like to wrap up the weekend with a nice dinner, chilling with friends and family.
What are your favourite gadgets?
Right now, my go-to gadgets are pretty basic but essential—my power bank, iPhone, and AirPods. They’re like my survival kit. Whether it’s taking calls, staying connected on the go, or listening to music or podcasts, these gadgets are always with me.
Given an option to choose another career, what would it be?
At this stage of life, I’m deeply invested in what I do, and I can’t imagine pursuing anything else. However, if I had to choose, I think I’d explore something in the food industry. There’s something incredibly satisfying about creating experiences around food—whether it’s the joy of trying out new cuisines, understanding flavors, or even reimagining how people connect over meals. It’s a field that blends creativity with connection, and the possibilities feel endless.
Which is your favourite vacation spot?
London, hands down. There’s just something about the city—the vibe, the culture, and the blend of history and modernity. It’s one of those places I can visit over and over again and still find something new to love about it.
A TV show, a movie, and an ad campaign you highly recommend watching.
For the movie, I’d say Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. It’s such a powerful reminder to live life on your terms and make the most of every moment. As for TV shows, it really depends on my mood, but something light and relatable always works. When it comes to ad campaigns, I admire ones that strike a chord with their storytelling—anything that’s simple yet impactful.
