The Job
I am a proud PBian and love the work we do at Policybazaar. The mission of making India insured and helping society with a safety net against death, disease and disability gives me my purpose. Being in the service industry, I strongly believe in the approach to thrive on providing world-class customer service.

When dealing with people, there’s only one approach. Treat them with empathy. When you treat others as you would be treated yourself, you can find solutions from their perspective. This creates trust, and there’s nothing more valuable than knowing that someone will do what they promise.

The Weekdays
I begin my day by waking up at 5:30 AM, followed by 45 minutes of Yoga before the day gets going. This is not only beneficial from a health perspective, but also for my mind. During my commute, I get time to check news updates and think through things before the work day begins.

One of my roles is to make sure that the organisation remains integrated. We remain thoughtful about our key priorities and make sure that we put in our best efforts behind those priorities. I also spend time on key initiatives and work with teams directly to make sure that things are going the right way. Except for a half an hour lunch break, I honestly do not prefer to take any breaks during the day, because I feel it disrupts the flow of things.

The Weekend
On weekends, I spend most of my time with my family and engage in healthy cooking for my dear ones. I enjoy indulging in outdoor activities with my daughters such as playing badminton or some board games like Monopoly. I also try to help them learn to code so that they understand the technology and not be passive consumers.
As a squash enthusiast, I like to play squash with my friends and daughters on weekends or holidays.

The Toys
My favourite gadgets are my mobile phone, iPad and Kindle. I am an avid reader and usually take some time out before the day ends to keep myself motivated. I am reading The Courage to Be Disliked by Ichiro Kishimi, Fumitake Koga — It is about Japanese culture, a culture I admire a lot.

The Logos
I am not a brand-conscious person. I buy everything that’s appealing to my aesthetics.
