The Job

I have always liked the saying ‘Choose a job you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life’. The day you force yourself out of bed for work, it becomes a chore and not passion. The status quo doesn’t thrill me. I’m always chasing the ‘what’s next’. Throughout my career, my approach has evolved, and I’ve come to prioritise the ‘very important but not urgent’ space, where strategic thinking and creativity flourish. The last couple of years have seen a major transformation in the radio space. With Radio + expansion, the creator economy evolving and new ideas being sparked constantly, a perfect storm is brewing.

The Weekdays

My weekdays start early, around 6 am, with a morning walk with my dog, Tigger. After an hour of yoga, I savour in a coffee routine which is quite therapeutic for me. By 9.15 am, I am immersed in work which typically involves a lot of meetings and interactions with different teams, the latter being something I thoroughly enjoy. Given Mumbai’s traffic, my commute can be lengthy, but I make the most of it by reconnecting with old friends over calls. After work, I prioritise quality time with my family or meet friends for dinner. I also enjoy unwinding with relaxing content, enjoying genres which are more masala entertainers and less cerebrally stimulating!

The Weekend

Weekends are my sanctuary. They are my personal escape as I vanish, sometimes quite literally, before the sun’s even up, heading across the harbor for some quiet downtime. Spending time amidst nature and devouring some delicious seafood is my way of hitting reset. Long drives are also a staple of my weekends. The farther I drive from the noise, the clearer things become.

The Toys

My Sonos speakers stay in sync with my day — as music in every room is non-negotiable. As a self-confessed coffee connoisseur, my Smeg coffee machine isn’t just an appliance, it’s a ritual. As far as aspirational toys go – the Porsche 911 has been on my bucket list for quite a while now!

The Logos

When it comes to brands I admire, a few truly stand out—Tesla for its fearless innovation, Apple for its seamless, intuitive design and Sabyasachi for blending heritage with global flair. I’m particularly fond of the BIG FM logo, which cleverly combines a guitar pick shape with vibrant colours. The design’s bold, modern aesthetic and energetic vibe perfectly capture our station’s sound and spirit – optimistic, lively, and infectious.
