Adobe has teamed up with Microsoft to integrate Adobe Experience Cloud workflows and insights with Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365. The collaboration aims to streamline marketers’ tasks by overcoming application and data silos. The integration will provide marketing insights and workflows from Adobe Experience Cloud applications and Microsoft Dynamics 365 directly into Microsoft Copilot. The partnership will assist marketers in their daily activities within tools such as Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Word, facilitating tasks such as creative brief development, content creation, content approvals, experience delivery, and more.

The marketing discipline comprises specialised roles that require various tools for designing brand content, managing campaigns, tracking audience insights, and reporting results. Marketers often face challenges working in silos and different applications, which can impact productivity. According to a recent survey by Microsoft, 43% of marketing and communications professionals find switching between digital applications disruptive to their creativity.
Adobe and Microsoft are collaborating to address these challenges. Initial capabilities will focus on the needs of marketers working across multiple teams internally and externally while managing campaign goals, status, and actions. These capabilities include:
– Strategic insights integrated into work processes: Marketers will receive campaign insights from Adobe Experience Cloud applications and Dynamics 365 directly in Outlook, Teams, and Word. They can inquire about project status, campaign effectiveness, approvals, and actions required, or audience and KPIs defined in campaign briefs.
– Creating campaign materials with relevant context: Marketing insights from Adobe and Dynamics 365 will be available in Copilot for Microsoft 365 to create briefs, presentations, reports, and updates. With Adobe Experience Manager Sites integrated, marketers can create imagery or copy for marketing experiences directly in Word and publish to channels such as web and mobile.
– Keeping projects on track with in-context notifications: Integrated capabilities informed by Adobe Workfront will provide notifications across Microsoft 365 applications. Teams will stay informed about changes and actions required, from feedback and approvals to work item changes or due dates.
