Kotak Mahindra Bank on Wednesday launched Kotak Solitaire, an exclusive, invite-only banking programme tailored for India’s affluent. Eligibility hinges on maintaining a total relationship value across deposits, investments, loans, insurance, and demat holdings of Rs 75 lakh or more for salaried individuals and Rs 1 crore for self-employed ones.
Issues from Kotak customers
A unique feature is that the programme allows the inclusion of up to 14 family members. It addresses long-standing pain points, such as a lack of personalisation, fragmented services, and the absence of family-first banking.
Features
Solitaire includes features such as Rs 8 crore in pre-approved credit lines, dedicated relationship managers, unified access to banking and lifestyle benefits and a premium credit card offering unlimited lounge access and zero forex markup.
Rohit Bhasin, president – head of affluent, NRI and business banking at Kotak Bank, said: “Solitaire is not a product, it’s a proposition. Kotak commands a 4% share of India’s affluent bank segment, and with the segment expected to double in the next three years, Solitaire is our strategic response to this momentum.”
