An Air India Express flight from Dubai made a precautionary landing at Karipur Airport on Friday after the pilot suspected a hydraulic system failure, according to airport sources. Flight IX344, en route to Karipur, landed safely at approximately 8:30 am.
A full emergency was declared at the airport, but the aircraft, carrying 182 passengers, including six crew members, landed without incident. The emergency was later withdrawn, sources confirmed.
The flight is now en route to Sharjah UAE and scheduled to land at 3:30 PM IST.
Previously, VT-NAG an Airbus A320-214 first registered in December 2008, flew from Kozhikode International Airport to Dubai International Airport on January 2nd as IX343, according to Flight Radar.
