The current outgoing Swift is priced at Rs 4.89 - 6.48 lakh for petrol variants and the diesel variants cost Rs 6.15-7.55 lakh. Expect the prices of new Maruti Suzuki Swift to be a bit premium than these prices and might start at about Rs 5.10 lakh for petrol variants and 5.90 lakh for diesel spec versions.
Design of new 2018 Maruti Suzuki Swift: The brand Swift is known for its sporty design characteristics and the new Swift carries the bold stance of the hatchback very well. The latest design of 2018 Swift is an evolution and takes the design of all-new Swift to the next level. The new front grille design — single-aperture is complemented with floating roof and accentuated by wrap around windows. The bold stance is further enhanced by vertically sweeping lamps. New Maruti Suzuki Swift gets a new headlamp cluster with LED projector headlamps with a signature LED DRL design, coupled with precision cut two-tone alloy wheels. When compared to the outgoing Swift, the all-new Swift is 40 mm wider and has a 20mm longer wheel base resulting in additional cabin space.
Interiors of new 2018 Maruti Suzuki Swift reflect's a sporty and modern cabin with a neat overall layout of the dashboard. The cockpit design of the interior is enhanced by driver-side tilted HMI (human-machine interface) controls. The interiors are are finished in urbane satin chrome finish on the instrument panel, steering, doors and speedometer rings. The flat bottom steering wheel adds to the overall sportiness.
On the engine front, new Maruti Suzuki Swift will be powered by the K12 VVT petrol and DDiS 190 diesel engine options. The company claims engines have further been tuned for superior performance, coupled with highly balanced suspensions for better ride and comfort. Both petrol and diesel engine will be available in 4 variants each with both getting the option AGS (Auto-gear shift) transmission.
