A Texas-based company called Volcon has unveiled what can easily be categorised as a mountain goat. And as mountain goats are eco-friendly, so is the Volcon Grunt - it is fully electric. Currently, the segment of all terrain vehicles is pretty much ruled by Honda, Polaris and Yamaha. The Grunt aims to be a zero-emission replacement for the RZR but with two-wheels and no roof.

On paper so far, the Grunt sounds impressive with about a 100 Nm of torque, a foot of ground clearance, a 160 km range and two-hour charge time on a regular household charger. It'll do 0-100 km/h in six seconds and that is also its top speed.

When low on battery on the field, the pack can be swapped for a charged one with use of basic tools in minutes. Volcon also intriguingly claims that the Grunt can be ridden underwater submerged completely. Petrol-powered motorcycles can not do that since they'd suck in water instead of air.
