The Indo-US nuclear deal may come up for discussion in Parliament next week, but under a rule that do not entail voting, providing much needed relief to the UPA.
Speaker Somnath Chatterjee on Friday ruled out a scope of a debate under Rule 184 (entailing voting) in the Lok Sabha, pointing out that Parliament had ?no competence? to decide on operationalisation of the 123 agreement.
