Opening these two centres will facilitate executives from J&K to acquire formal management education from a premier institution.

BSE Institute and Ryerson announce BSEI-Ryerson Zone
An MoU has been signed between BSE Institute Ltd (BIL), Ryerson University and Ryerson Futures Inc (RFI) from Toronto, Canada. The document outlines a partnership to create BSEI-Ryerson Digital Media Zone, a new India-based incubator for entrepreneurs to fast-track their start-ups and connect with mentors, customers and investors. The collaboration between BIL, Ryerson and RFI lays the groundwork to help young entrepreneurs expand into both the Indian and Canadian markets.
Cargill announces first class of Cargill Global Scholars
Cargill and its executives have signed up to mentor and support select undergraduate students around the world as part of the Cargill Global Scholars programme. Fifty-six undergraduate college students including 10 Indian students were notified that their university experience will be transformed by becoming members of the first class of Cargill Global Scholars. Through this class, selected college students from Brazil, China, Russia, India and the US will receive funds to help cover their educational expenses.
Directi launches CodeChef for Indian school kids
With an aim to create a self-sustaining community of technology developers, the Directi Group, an internet products company, has launched an online programming platform titled CodeChef for Schools. It is an effort aimed to enable Indian students to excel at the International Olympiad of Informatics?one of the five academic Olympiads for high school students.
Educomp Raffles launches scholarship at JRE School
Educomp Raffles has announced a scholarship programme with a corpus of R2 crore for the new BTech batch students at the JRE School of Engineering, Delhi NCR. The programme is part of the CSR outreach of Educomp Raffles, and it aims to support students who have scored more than 80% marks in Class XII (PCM), with scholarships of up to R2.5 lakh per student. Educomp Raffles is a joint venture between Educomp Solutions and Raffles Education.
