Engineers India reported July-September net profit of Rs 120 crore, up 14.3% from a year ago. Net sales grew 27% from a year ago to Rs 594 crore, aided by turnkey projects.
Revenue from consultancy and engineering projects were up 7.1% from a year ago at Rs 270 crore, and revenue from turnkey projects amounted to Rs 320 crore, up 50% from a year ago. Total expenditure for the quarter was Rs 450 crore, up 18.4% from a year ago.
The company?s cash and bank balance as on September 30 was Rs 1,779 crore and it continued to remain debt-free.
Engineers India share today ended at Rs 345.60 on National Stock Exchange, down 0.3% from previous close.
