The Calcutta Stock Exchange (CSE) failed to hold on to the previous week’s gain with the benchmark index, CSE-40, losing 608.28 points.
The local bourse jumped 523.24 points last week.
The index opened firm at 10,323.13 points, but continued to fall till Thursday to touch an intra-week low of 9,706.96.
It, however, gained marginally on the last trading session of the week to end at 9,724.85.
The business volume remained moderate.
Blueprint Securities was at Rs 303.75 to finish the week.
Brahmanand Himghar closed at Rs 189. Minolta Finance was at Rs 278.65.
Quest Financial Services finished at Rs 60.75. RGF Capital was at Rs 345 at the end of the trading session.
Risorgimento Industrial Co was at Rs 285.25. Shardaraj Tradefin was at Rs 53.85. Shree Nidhi Trading ended at Rs 158.90 and Shree Securities finished the week at Rs 198.20.
