The BJP on Friday said that it would not like the UPA government to fall in the backdrop of a severe acrimony between the Congress and the Left parties over the Indo-US civil nuclear deal.
The party said the government, while continuing to be in power, would have more opportunities to commit mistakes and ?fill up their pot of sins?.
Speaking in the Lok Sabha, leader of Opposition LK Advani said, he would like the Congress-led coalition to continue as against the media reports that the Left would soon sign ?divorce papers? with the UPA.
Advani said, ?Continuation of this government would ensure that it will continue to make blunders, commit more mistakes.? While the Opposition was united in opposing the deal, ?the ruling alliance has not been unanimous on it … the government?s attitude has alienated you (UPA) from your colleagues?, he said.
