Almond and its kernel prices fell up to Rs 100 per 40 kg in local dry fruits market today, following sluggish demand against adequate stocks positions. However, other dry fruits moved in a narrow range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said adequate stocks positions against subdued demand at prevailing higher levels mainly led to fall in almond and its kernel prices. In the national capital, almond (California)declined by
Rs 100 to Rs 10,450 per 40 kg, while its kernel shed Rs 2 to Rs 375-380 per kg.
