My job is great: (pauses) You get to be a part of a customer’s journey right from the moment they come to us for the first time to the day when you see them achieving the desired results.This is the real fun of working in a category like ours.
What I don’t like about my job: When people come to me asking why Kaya is expensive. This is not correct. At Kaya, we make you glow at the price of what you spend on two people at a coffee chain.
My most inspirational moment: Let me tell you the story of one of our customers in Ludhiana. This girl wanted to do two things in her life – have a good career and get married. The acne on her skin always marred her prospects. After three months at Kaya she got a job and one day, after stepping into the clinic with a box of sweets, her mother announced, ? uska rishta pukka ho gaya hai ?. This changed my view of the brand forever.
The turning point in my career: After working in advertising agencies for five years, the turning point came when I joined HUL as a brand manager. While earlier I was contributing to only one aspect of marketing i.e. communication, now I am involved in every aspect of it.
In my free time: I enjoy watching sports like Formula1 and football. I am a travel buff and love to go to new places for sports and adventure.
Favourite social networking site: Twitter because the word limit per tweet is 140 characters only and so one is forced to talk sense.
Average number of job offers I get: I am not active on Linkedin and do not receive calls from unknown numbers.
First thing I do when I reach office: Check the online lead report (compiled and sent at 2 am in the morning) which tells me about those who have shown interest in my brand in the online space.
Brands I like to wear: Nike and Armani.
