Germany-based Ad Notam GmbH is planning to make India a central hub to export Ad Notam branded mirror image LCD televisions for the Asia Pacific, Wendelin Manser, global business development partner, Ad Notam GmbH told FE.
As for the rationale behind the move, he explained, ?From India, we will be exporting Ad Notam branded mirror image LCD TVs to countries such as the Middle East, Singapore, Vietnam and thus save on 15% of export cost.? Through the existing facility in Germany, mirror image LCD TVs are being exported to European market. Ad Notam is a market leader in the segment of customized solution products.
Ad Notam mirror image is a high end technological LCD TVs (priced over Rs 1.5 lakh and available from a 6.5 inch to 65 inches) that can be recessed into the wall, hanged as a picture, free standing, or even integrated into the furniture with fish aquarium spread on all sides of the mirror as the product is water resistant. The high-end technology New Living Line enables easy connection to all available types of media sources, thus maximizing the impact of any TV program, DVD, or PC presentation to its highest.
According to Bhavin Mehta, director, AV & Automation Consultant, Ad Notam AV Pvt Ltd, ?Ad Notam GmbH is eyeing cities such as Gujarat apart from Bangalore to set up manufacturing and export hub where products would be imported and parts and assembled as per the customized solution needs. Our initial investments will be around Rs 20 crore. Prior to the move, we plan to set up about 8 to 10 Ad Notam flagship centres in metroes which will be followed with franchisee stores thereafter.?
Mehta added that ad notam has recently initiated talks with real estate developers majors such as DLF, U nitech, Indiabulls, Hiranadani?s and Rahejas apart from other hospitality majors in order to supply them with ad notam mirror image LCD TVs. Recently, Ad Notam has met exclusively with Mukesh Ambani to offer Ad Notam branded largest ?Mirror Image LCD TVs? within Antilia.
