Adani Enterprises has sold its 13% stake in AWL Agri Business to Wilmar’s subsidiary Lence for Rs 4,650 crore, making Wilmar the majority stakeholder of Adani Wilmar. This is part of Adani’s strategy to exit the FMCG segment and focus on infrastructure. They have also become the preferred bidder for Jaiprakash Associates. AWL Agri Business has reported a decline in profits.
