Indian Banks sanctioned Rs 34 lakh crore under MUDRA Yojana to 55 crore beneficiaries
Indian banks have sanctioned loans worth Rs 34 lakh crore without collateral to 55 crore beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana (PMMY). The scheme, launched in 2015, aims to fund the unfunded and has been enhanced to Rs 20 lakh. The government has launched a campaign to address unclaimed assets, including increasing the number of nominees per bank account to four.
