Amazon to invest over $35 bn across businesses in India by 2030, focus on AI, jobs
Amazon aims to invest USD 35 billion in India by 2030, quadruple exports to USD 80 billion, and create one million jobs. This is 2 times Microsoft’s investment and 2.3 times Google’s investment. The company has already invested USD 40 billion and is the largest foreign investor. They have digitized 12 million small businesses, enabled USD 20 billion in exports, and supported 2.8 million jobs.
