The Supreme Court has ordered state authorities to move stray dogs from educational centres and hospitals to designated shelters. They must also prevent stray dogs from entering government and private institutions. The dogs should not be released in the same location and highways must be cleared of stray animals. NHAI must also remove cattle from highways and expressways.
