‘Progressing well and as per schedule,’ says CEO as 1.10 cr forms distributed in Bengal
The Election Commission of India has begun the first stage of the three-stage special intensive revision in West Bengal, with 1.10 crore enumeration forms distributed in the first two days. The process will be completed by March next year, ahead of the crucial Assembly elections. Voters included in the last SIR in 2002 only need to submit the forms, while others will have to register.
