A massive fire broke out in a slum near Rithala Metro Station in New Delhi, injuring a child. The fire, which was declared to be of Medium category, required 29 fire tenders to be rushed to the spot. After hours of dousing, the blaze was brought under control and the injured child was sent to the hospital. No further casualties have been reported.
