A fire at a nightclub in Goa caused by electric firecrackers set off during a dance performance by a Kazakh national, Kristina, claimed 25 lives and injured many. Kristina did not have a valid work visa, and the police are investigating the incident. Five people have been arrested so far and one person has been detained.
