FBI’s Most Wanted mom Cindy Rodriguez Singh has been arrested. The American woman accused of murdering her six-year-old son was listed as one of the “Top 10 Most Wanted Fugitives.” According to FBI Director Kash Patel‘s recent X post shared just hours ago, Singh will be facing charges of Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution and Capital Murder of a person under 10 years of age as she is believed to have fled to India after allegedly committing the spine-chilling crime.
On Wednesday (US time), Patel revealed that Cindy Singh had been apprehended over two years after she boarded an India-bound flight from the United States. Authorities had long believed that she did not return to American since the said flight. FBI has originally branded her a “flight risk,” while offering a reward of up to $250,000 for information leading to her arrest.
What do we know about Cindy Singh?
As per the official FBI poster describing Cindy Singh, the 40-year-old woman has brown hair with tattoos on her back, left leg, right arm, right calf, right hand and right leg. She was born in Dallas, Texas, on January 30, 1985,
While Rodriguez Singh now faces charges in Texas, the case of her son’s suspected death first came to light in March 2023, when authorities in Everman conducted a welfare search for the young boy, Noel Alvarez, since he had not been seen since October 2022. The American woman, who was remarked as having “ties to or may visit India and Mexico,” is believed to have lied to authorities about Alvarez’s whereabouts.

However, two days after being approached by the officials, she is expected to have travelled to India with her husband and six other juvenile children. The 6-year-old suspected dead was missing from the flight, with investigators confirming that he never board the plane. Additionally, ABC News cited local police saying that Cindy had applied for passports for all her children, except Noel, in November 2022.
Unfortunately, state and federal authorities never found Rodriguez Singh’s 6-year-old son, and he has since been presumed dead.
Months later, she was charged in the District Court of Tarrant Count, Fort Worth, Texas, in October 2023. The next month, a federal arrest warrant was issued for the charge of Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution, according to Patel’s tweet.
