Longtime Donald Trump ally Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG), who particularly supported the Republican US president over his ‘America First’ game-plan, has split from the 79-year-old leader’s path. The Georgia Congresswoman has recently doubled down on her admissions about being “America First and America Only.” Although still very much a far-right-leaning politician, Trump and others from the ‘Make America Great Again’ (MAGA) camp have bashed her for “joining the Democrats.”

However, she’s taken issue with the POTUS over playing the global “peacemaker” instead of focusing on domestic matters at a time when countless citizens can’t stop complaining about rising prices amid Trump’s tariff regime. But that’s not the only thing fuelling her drastic separation from the Trump Team brand. The highly-contentious so-called Epstein Files are another crucial factor driving the political breakup.

Trump vs Marjorie Taylor Greene explodes

Taking to his Truth Social platform on November 14 (US time), the American president viciously slammed his former MAGA ally in a lengthy post. Having been on the outs with MTG over the past few weeks, Trump firmly put his foot his down on Friday and said he was “withdrawing” his support for the congresswoman.

Calling Greene “wacky” for doing nothing more than complain, Trump heaped praises on himself for “creating Record Achievements for our Country including, a Total and Complete Victory on the Shutdown, Closed Borders, Low Taxes, No Men in Women’s Sports or Transgender for Everyone, ending DEI, stopping Biden’s Record Setting Inflation, Biggest Regulation Cuts in History, stopping EIGHT WARS, rebuilding our Military, being RESPECTED by every Country in the World (as opposed to being the laughingstock that we were just 12 months ago!), having Trillions of Dollars (Record Setting!) INVESTED in the U.S.A., and having created the “HOTTEST” Country anywhere in the World from being a DEAD Country just 12 months ago (and so much more!).”

He further bashed her having “gone Far Left” and appearing on The View, a multi-host programme that has often struck up a clash with Trump over its generally liberal-leaning stance. In the same SNS update, Trump suggested that MTG repeatedly badgered him with phone calls and was “upset” that he didn’t speak to her.

MTG hits back at Trump

Greene quickly responded to the inflammatory post. Penning her side of the story, MTG presented her counters. “President Trump just attacked me and lied about me. I haven’t called him at all, but I did send these text messages today,” she fumed on X.

“Apparently this is what sent him over the edge. The Epstein files.”

She went on, “And of course he’s coming after me hard to make an example to scare all the other Republicans before next weeks vote to release the Epstein files.”

The congresswoman further called out Trump for fighting so “hard” to stop the release of the Epstein Files, which previous reports have claimed include the POTUS’ name as well. She blasted the US president for going all out against the so-called files when she voted for him to “fight this hard to help the forgotten men and women of America.”

Admitting that she had spent too much of her “precious” time and money supporting Trump, MTG asserted, “But I don’t worship or serve Donald Trump.” Greene reiterated she only worshipped God, with Jesus as her saviour.

Marjorie Taylor Greene has long backed the awaited release of Epstein Files

Marjorie’s social media activity comes a week ahead of the House of Representative’s vote on a bill forcing the US Department of Justice to release the long-asked-for “Jeffrey Epstein Files.” Although Trump hasn’t been formally implicated in any wrongdoing in connection with the convicted sex offender, instances of his former association with the late billionaire have often popped up in archival footage and pictures.

Marjorie Taylor green is one of the four Republicans gunning for the release of all files related to the convicted pedophile. Earlier this year, her fellow Republican Party member Rep Thomas Massie co-authored legislation forcing the DOJ to release these government-held documents alongside Democratic Rep Ro Khanna.

Their discharge sheet forcing a vote on the same release of the files has now reached a total of 218 signatures. Since four of these also come from Republicans, Trump and other MAGA members have synonymously equated their alignment with Democrats for the cause as MTG “joining” the “Far Left.”

MTG had previously countered ‘dirty rumours’ of Trump breakup

Just months ago, Greene highlighted the “very big divide” among Republicans due to Donald Trump’s decision to intervene in the Israel-Iran war. “Every time America is on the verge of greatness, we get involved in another foreign war. There would not be bombs falling on the people of Israel if Netanyahu had not dropped bombs on the people of Iran first. Israel is a nuclear armed nation. This is not our fight. Peace is the answer,” she shared via X in June.

Although she asserted that the US should be involved in the global crisis, she later refuted claims of having renounced her position as a Trump fan club member. Noting that she still remained “President Trump’s most outspoken ally,” Greene added, “The press and some other nasty people would love to write lying headlines and create dirty rumours that there’s a break between me and President Trump. WRONG. MTG (heart emoji) DJT (American flag emoji).”

In another post, she flipped her critical remarks upside-down and thanked the president for “pursuing peace.”
