A suspicious hunting stand with a direct sight line to US President Donald Trump’s Air Force One exit was discovered near Palm Beach International Airport on Thursday, according to the US Secret Service. FBI Director Kash Patel has since alerted the masses of the development as well, noting, “USS spotted a suspicious stand near the AF1 zone in Palm Beach,” on X. He further announced that the FBI was investigating the matter.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the potential “security threat.”

Consequently, a White House official told Fox News that Trump boarded Air Force One quickly, using small stairs, due to “increased security measures” at the airport on Sunday.

Patel, on the other hand, told the US news agency that the Secret Service came across an elevated hunting stand in the area right before Trump’s return to West Palm Beach. Revealing that no individual was found at the scene, he added, ” The FBI has since taken the investigatory lead, flying in resources to collect all evidence from the scene, and deploying our cell phone analytics capabilities.”

Trump’s son breaks silence

The Republican president’s son, Eric Trump, also called out the presence of a suspicious hunting stand near the Palm Beach airport. Taking to his social media account on X, he praised the Secret Service for doing “great job” in finding the item.

“‘Hunting Stand’ – for all the Whitetail on Southern BLVD, located directly across the street from Palm Beach International Airport, in the median of a major highway… directly facing the Air Force One stairs (200yds),” he shared online.

Hours after Kash Patel addressed the arising “threat,” President Trump was spotted departing Palm Beach Airport for Washington DC, as per visuals obtained by Fox News.
