Nikki Haley’s son, Nalin Haley, is back in the spotlight, this time for launching a sharp and very public attack on Vivek Ramaswamy, who is running for governor of Ohio. Nalin, who has been vocal about backing the “America First” mood, went after Ramaswamy in a series of posts on X, accusing him of being fake, opportunistic, and dishonest about his political beliefs.

After calling for a ban on legal immigration during a podcast despite coming from an immigrant background himself, Nalin claimed that Ramaswamy never truly believed in the America First ideology he loudly pushed during the presidential race.

Nalin Haley claims Vivek Ramaswamy reached out to Nikki Haley

In a post on X, Nalin claimed that long before Vivek Ramaswamy entered the presidential race against Donald Trump or set his sights on the Ohio governor’s race, he had reached out to Nalin’s mother, Nikki Haley. (Nikki Haley is a senior American politician who made history as the first woman to serve as governor of South Carolina and later went on to serve as the 29th US ambassador to the United Nations.)

“My Mom would never say this cuz she’s too nice… but I’m not so I will. He reached out in 2021 to my mom to ask her to say nice things about his book (Which she kindly did). He was a total fangirl before the grift,” Nalin wrote on X.

“He also asked her advice on running for Gov of Ohio, which was his plan all along. Very sleazy. That’s why he kissed ass the whole presidential campaign. He didn’t actually believe any of it. He just wanted the endorsement,” he added.

Nalin accused Ramaswamy of running the entire presidential campaign by flattering powerful figures, including President Donald Trump, just to secure endorsements that would help his Ohio gubernatorial run later. “It’s not surprising that someone who made their fortune scamming other people would then run a fraudulent presidential campaign in an attempt to be a fraudulent governor who wants to replace Americans and American workers with foreigners,” he wrote.

Nalin mocked Ramaswamy, calling him “Vivague Ramaslimey” and labelling him a greedy, anti-American scammer. “Now he’s threatening to sue people who rightfully call out his scams. Vivague Ramaslimey is and always will be a greedy Anti-American scammer with a hairline worse than pennywise the clown.”

Vivek Ramaswamy is currently facing pressure from multiple directions. While MAGA supporters have rejected him for repeatedly lecturing Americans on “American-ness,” the far-right Groypers have turned against him after he criticised Nick Fuentes. Fuentes has since said he plans to actively campaign against Ramaswamy in Ohio.

Ramaswamy’s legal warning to online trolls

Nalin’s post came shortly after a warning issued by Vivek Ramaswamy, where he attempted to clear the air about allegations tied to his business career. Ramaswamy denied claims that he carried out a pump-and-dump scheme involving an Alzheimer’s drug. Critics have alleged that his company hyped the drug ahead of going public, causing share prices to soar, even though the drug never received approval.

In his post, Ramaswamy strongly warned critics to be careful. “Friendly note to those trying to push defamatory lies: save your records & don’t delete them. Happy New Year in advance!” the Ohio governor hopeful wrote on X.
