Melania Trump has registered a double-win against those bringing up an alleged Jeffrey Epstein link. Although the First Lady of the US has barely made a sound about the case on social media, she has been making plenty of silent moves behind the scenes, targeting all those who seek to drag her name through the mud while her husband, POTUS Donald Trump, continues to be distantly embroiled in the scandal involving the late pedophile.
Recently, longtime Democratic strategist James Carville alleged in one of his episodes of the ‘Politics War Room’ podcast that the former model (and Donald Trump) and the late convicted sex offender shared a “deep dark secret.”
Last night, the FLOTUS confirmed in a social media update that the former Bill Clinton campaign manager was left with no choice but to retract the the episode titled “James Carville: The EPSTEIN Connection – TRUMP & MELANIA” altogether. The 80-year-old pundit has since issued an official apology as well.

Taking to her X profile, she quietly shared snaps of the sorry note that came after Melania swiftly enlisted her lawyer’s help to avoid making any defaming headline. Therein, Carville addressed how after his interaction with American journalist and lawyer Judd Legum on last week’s episode had prompted a letter from the US First Lady’s attorney.
“He took issue with out title of one of those YouTube videos from that episode and a couple of comments I made about the First Lady,” read Carville’s apology. “We took a look at what they complained about, and we took down the video and edited out those comments from the episode. I also take back these statements and apologise.”

James Carville’s swift U-turn comes merely days after US media outlet Daily Beast got rid of one of their articles suggesting that an Epstein-connected modeling agent introduced Melania Trump to her then-future husband Donald Trump. Much like the Democratic strategist getting a notice from the First Lady’s lawyer, the media house was received a letter questioning the article headline and framework.
“After this story was published, The Beast received a letter from First Lady Melania Trump’s attorney challenging the headline and framing of the article… After reviewing the matter, the Beast has taken down the article and apologises for any confusion or misunderstanding,” read an editor note that eventually replaced the post.
In a subsequent response to the current happenings, a spokesperson for Lady Trump’s office told The Hill, Melania’s attorneys were “actively ensuring immediate retractions and apologies.”

James Carville’s Melania Trump-Epstein link: Here’s what he said
The pundit’s YouTube clip in question initially discussed about Melania Trump meeting Jeffrey Epstein, and that her eventual connection with Donald Trump was indirectly credited to the sex predator. To quell any slandering notions, Melania’s spokesperson meanwhile drove the attention to how her self-titled memoir had already tackled the subject.
“The true account of how the First Lady met President Trump is in her best-selling book, ‘Melania,’” they added in the statement.
While the video appears to have been altered on YouTube, previously screen-recorded snippets of it were found on X, formerly Twitter. As per them, Carville called Melania Trump a “key figure” in the whole Trump-Epstein backlash. Further attempting to dissect why the Trump administration is allegedly covering up the so-called Epstein Files and other related details, he says, “I think that is at the bottom of what they don’t want to get out because it was all modelling agencies.”
He went on, “Remember, Trump had a modelling agency, then Epstein got into the modelling agency, and then Jean-Luc Brunel, the guy in Paris, had a modelling agency, and he hung himself.”

Meanwhile, the FBI and Justice Department, under the Trump government, continue to assert that Epstein also killed himself in his prison cell in 2019. And so, Carville added, “Two out of the three people ended up hanging themselves. There is really a deep dark secret somewhere underneath all this.”
What DailyBeast said about Melania Trump
As for the Daily Beast‘s article, it largely covered what author Michael Wolff claimed on the outlet’s podcast. In an interview with ‘The Daily Beast Podcast,’ the longtime biographer of the MAGA leader insisted that Melania was “very involved” in his “relationship” with the convicted sex predator.
Wolff pushed the same claims Carville spoke about on his own podcast. “She’s introduced by a model agent, both of whom Trump and Epstein are involved with. She’s introduced to Trump that way,” the US journalist said at the time. “Epstein knows her well.” On top of that, Wolff said tapes he supposedly recorded, the notorious financier allegedly said Trump liked to “f***” the wives of his friends and slept with Melania on Epstein’s private jet, ‘Lolita Express.’
Just a while ago, President Trump slammed the “Fire & Fury” author, calling him a “Third Rate Reporter… laughed at even by the scoundrels of the Fake News,” while taking a dig at left-wing media houses and journalists.
Former President Joe Biden’s son Hunter talked the same talk during a recent interview, pushing the conspiracy theory that Epstein introduced Melania to her future father.
