Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene tweeted on Monday, expressing deep frustration with the direction of U.S. foreign policy under President Donald Trump’s endorsed administration. In a lengthy post, Greene accused the current government of abandoning core elements of the “Make America Great Again” (MAGA), particularly its non-interventionist stance.

“I spent millions of my own money and traveled the entire country campaigning for President Trump and the MAGA agenda,” Greene wrote. “And that agenda promised no more foreign wars, no more regime change, and a path to world peace. That’s what the American people voted for.”

Greene criticised recent escalations in military activity, suggesting they signal a return to the foreign entanglements MAGA voters specifically opposed. “Only six months in, and we are back into foreign wars, regime change, and what looks like the beginning of World War III,” she stated, calling it a “bait and switch” orchestrated to placate what she described as “neocons, warmongers, and the military-industrial complex.”

Greene noted initial claims of “complete success” were later walked back to reports of only “partial damage,” and now uncertainty over the location of enriched uranium. “We don’t know where their enriched uranium is,” she said, calling the handling of the situation “dangerous and dishonest.”

The Georgia congresswoman emphasised the personal stakes of these developments, invoking her own children. “My children are 22, 25, and 27,” she said. “I will literally fight anyone for their future.” She warned of the risks of renewed conflict, including terrorist retaliation, conscription, and even the threat of nuclear war.

Greene framed her opposition as rooted in concern for American families, economic stability, and constitutional freedoms. “I am fighting for a future where they can afford to buy a home, invest for retirement, and raise a family in safety and faith , without their own government destroying it all,” she said. In a pointed rebuttal to critics, she added: “Contrary to what brainwashed Democrat boomers think, Trump is not a king, MAGA is not a cult, and I can and do have my own opinion.”
