California is all set for firework shows and some of the best-possible celebrations across state on Friday, July 4, 2025. However, it’s not all rainbows and sunshine as some festivities have been out on hold in light of the explosion at a fireworks warehouse in Esparto.

As a result, some Fourth of July event have been cancelled in the American state. These include the Lodi Lake Fireworks Show, San Jose’s fireworks, Fast Cars and Freedom event at the Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, fireworks after the Placerville Speedway races, and Cloverdale’s Annual Chuck Sibert Pyro Spectacular, among others.

Meanwhile, the rest of California will continued to party on even with anti-Trump ‘No Kings 2.0’ and ‘Free America’ protests planned for the weekend all across the United States. Here is a cohesive guide (though not exhaustive) to countless firework displays and exuberant gatherings for the Fourth of July weekend.

Impact of the California wildfire has not been accounted for in this article.
