Barron Trump had made waves last year after opting to pursue a business degree from New York University — even as his father contested and won a second term as US President. Subsequent reports suggested a rocky start to the semester with a professor suggesting that he “doesn’t belong” at NYU and peers “watching like a zoo animal”. He had eventually switched to the Washington campus to continue classes less than a mile away from the White House.

The POTUS recently offered a small glimpse into his educational ventures — telling his granddaughter that Barron was doing well. Trump had gone golfing with Kai in late August and fielded several questions for a vlog upload. The interaction also came mere days before reports said Barron would be moving into the White House and completing the fall semester at the secondary campus.

“Good, he’s doing good. He’s a good boy. He loves you. He said: ‘Say hello to Kai, dad’. I said: ‘Barron, why don’t you come out and watch?’ He’s so cute,” Trump told his granddaughter.

Barron Trump scouted for TikTok job?

The updates come amid growing buzz that the First Son will take a top role with TikTok. The suggestion was first floated the President’s social media manager and quickly gained momentum in MAGA circles. The idea came to the fore after his father (the POTUS) finalised a massive deal with the streaming app. But tthere have been no official statements from Barron Trump, TikTok, or the Trump team regarding the suggestion.

“Young people are overwhelmingly the user base of TikTok. I’m hopeful President Trump will consider appointing his son Barron and maybe other young Americans to TikTok’s board to help ensure it remains an app young people want to keep using,” Jack Advent had told the Daily Mail.
