American online streamer Adin Ross, who conducted a 90-minute livestream interview with US President Donald Trump last year, said he received a text from “someone very close” confirming that reports of Trump’s death were false. Ross made the announcement during a livestream on Kick, where he assured viewers that “literally nothing is wrong”.

“Guys, I just got confirmed that President Trump is okay. By a very close… Wait, what happened with Trump? Nothing, literally nothing’s wrong,” Ross said during the livestream.

The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption, “Adin Ross just got a text from Barron Trump confirming Donald Trump is alive and well.”

The clarification comes after rumours spread on social media claiming that Trump has died, so much so that the hashtags “#TrumpIsDead” and “WhereIsTrump” started trending online. The speculation intensified because Trump had not made a public appearance following a three-hour White House cabinet meeting on Tuesday.

Many even went as far as saying that the White House flag was flying at half-staff. However, this has been linked to a shooting at a school in Minneapolis, where two children were killed. The shooter injured 10 other people before taking his own life.

This followed a viral picture of a bruise on Trump’s hand and another showing a layer of makeup seemingly covering it. Later on, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt explained that Trump developed it from frequent handshakes, adding that it is not a medical issue.

In July, the White House revealed that Trump had been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a condition that can cause leg swelling but is not considered life-threatening. There are pictures of him on social media that show swollen legs and ankles.
