Former US President and Republican contender for president Donald Trump has claimed that Mark Zuckerberg, the founder and CEO of Facebook, called him lately to apologise for suppressing him and to promise that he would not back a Democrat. “So, Mark Zuckerberg called me. First of all, he called me a few times. He called me after the event and he said that was really amazing, it was very brave. He actually announced he’s not gonna support a Democrat because he can’t because he respected me for what I did that day,” Trump told Fox News in an interview.

Trump further added that they are working on it. “I think they fixed it. He’s not doing what he did five years ago, with the 500 million dollars, I don’t believe,” he added.

In addition to this, Trump has lashed out at Google over reports that were censoring news and photos of the Republican presidential candidate. “Google has been very bad. They’ve been very irresponsible and I have a feeling that Google is going to be close to shut down because I don’t think Congress is going to take it. I really don’t think so. Google has to be careful,” Trump told Fox News in the same interview.

Trump said early this week that searching Google for images or information regarding the July 13 murder attempt on him was nearly impossible. However, Google refuted those claims.

“Over the past few days, some people on X have posted claims that search is ‘censoring’ or ‘banning’ particular terms. That’s not happening, and we want to set the record straight. The posts relate to our Autocomplete feature, which predicts queries to save you time. Autocomplete,” he said in a social media post.
