Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday departed for the US to meet President Donald Trump after wrapping his two-day visit to France where he co-chaired the Artificial Intelligence Action Summit alongside French President Emmanuel Macron with whom he also held bilateral discussions.

In the US, PM Modi will hold a bilateral meeting with President Trump in both restricted and delegation-level formats.

Modi will be the fourth foreign leader to visit Trump in the weeks after the American leader’s inauguration as the 47th President of the US in January.

In less than a month of the start of Trump’s second term in the White House, the US president has hosted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba and Jordan’s King Abdullah II.

During his two-day visit to France, Modi co-chaired the Artificial Intelligence Action Summit with French President Emmanuel Macron and also held bilateral discussions with him.

12 February 2025: Arrival in Washington DC- PM Modi will arrive in Washington DC on 12 February 2025 at 1800 hrs EST (4.30 am, 13 February).

13 February 2025: Bilateral Meetings (details to be shared later) will take place between 1030 – 1330 hrs EST – 9 am to 12 noon IST (14 February, 2025)

1600 hrs onwards – Engagement at White House (bilateral meetings and delegation level talks)- 2.30 am IST (14 February)
