In a viral Audio clip, Muzammil Hashmi, a designated terrorist from Lashkar-e-Taiba, was spewing venom against India. Hashmi was giving a speech at Pak Markazi Muslim League, which is known to be a political front of LeT, organised a rally on May 28 in Gujranwala for the Pakistan nukes anniversary.

Hashmi mentioned his speech as a message to the enemy (India). He further said that they are not afraid of bullets and gave a clear message to the Indian PM. He said,” Tum hume apni goli se darate ho, modi hum tujhe pegam dete hai, humari bacche teri misslo se nahi dare hum teri goli se kya darenge”.

He further gave a message that they are not scared of Modi and added,”hume khaufzada naa tere bade kar sake na tu kar sakega.” He also said to look at history,” Tu tarikh dekh le is hindustan ki tarikh, tere baap dada ki tareekh. Tere baap dada ne humesha hamare saamne paani bhara hai aur tu bhi bharega”

Notably, he mentioned that India’s retaliation was at night while Pakistan’s strikes were in broad daylight. He said, ” Tune raaat me dhamake kiya aur hamne din me farak saaf hai”.

He also hinted at the ouster of Bangladesh and indirectly claimed credit for it, “Modi tu janta hai humne pichle saal tujhe bangladesh me shikast di.” He was referring to the forced resignation of Sheikh Hasina from the position of Bangladesh’s Prime Minister.

Sheikh Hasina’s resignation

Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh’s Prime Minister, resigned and departed the country on, May 26, 2024, after weeks of intense and often deadly protests. The demonstrations, which initially began as student-led protests against government job quotas, escalated into a widespread movement demanding her immediate resignation.

Hasina, 76, left Dhaka via military aircraft, arriving at Hindon airfield near Delhi later that evening.

The Students Against Discrimination group, a key organiser of job quota protests, spearheaded these recent demonstrations. While the initial protests for quota reform had paused after the Supreme Court largely scrapped the system on July 21, 2024, protesters reignited their efforts last week. Their renewed demands included a public apology from Hasina for the violence, restoration of internet services, the reopening of college and university campuses, and the release of all arrested individuals.
