On the other hand, Barack Obama stated that he rarely gets to see the rumours around him anymore and is made aware only when a team member brings it to him. Michelle expressed the strength in her marriage and said that there has not been “one moment in our marriage where I thought about quittin’ my man,” even after “some really hard times,” she had mentioned earlier.
“We have had a lot of fun times, a lot of adventures, and I have become a better person because of the man I’ve married to,” Michelle said. Hearing this, Barack joked about not making him “cry now.”
They faced such rumours after multiple media reports cited that they were facing marital issues. They reached a high peak in January 2025 when Michelle decided to skip the funeral of former US President Jimmy Carter along with Donald Trump’s inauguration, his second time in Office.
Michelle and Barack Obama got married in 1992. They are a family of four with two daughter Sasha and Malia. Together for over three decades, Michelle served as the first African American First Lady.
