YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as MrBeast, has officially joined the 10-digit club, with his net worth reaching one billion. With this, he becomes the 8th youngest billionaire in the world. According to CelebrityNetWorth, MrBeast, who has a net worth of $1 billion, earns an estimated $50 million per month.

This comes months after he appeared on Steven Bartlett’s Diary of a CEO podcast, where the 27-year-old famously said that he was a “billionaire” but on paper.

“Yeah. But in my actual bank account, I have less than one million,” MrBeast had said on the podcast released in February this year. He continued, “[I pay myself] a little bit, but I also have some assistants and things like that, so I try to pay myself what I spend personally, a month, just to stay even.”

MrBeast recreates MrLean meme on Instagram

As he became a billionaire, he shared pictures of himself holding stacks of cash, recreating the viral “MrLean” meme. For those who don’t know, MrLean is the humorous alter ego of MrBeast, his so-called “hood” version, as per social media. The meme, as many on the Internet say, is seen as a flex that would make many jealous.

“You guys can stop asking me to recreate the meme now,” he wrote on Instagram, sharing photos of himself holding and fanning out stacks of cash, just like MrLean can be seen in memes.

‘Will donate all my wealth’: MrBeast

MrBeast declared his intention to donate his entire fortune to those in need before he dies several times on social media.

In 2019, he posted on X, “I know most people prob won’t believe this but my main goal in life is to just make a bunch of money, and then give it all away while doing as much good as possible before I die. I just don’t want to live a meaningless life, I want to make an impact and be content when I’m older!”

“Twitter – Rich people should help others with their money. Me – Okay, I’ll use my money to help people, and I promise to give away all my money before I die. Every single penny. Twitter – MrBeast bad,” he reiterated on January 31 in 2023.

MrBeast is the most followed creator in the world, with over 500 million followers across socials. He has over 396 million subscribers on his main YouTube channel, over 32.5 million on Twitter (now X) and more than 71.1 million followers on Instagram. He makes money mainly from YouTube, where he posts several stunt videos. He also makes money from brand partnerships, merchandise sales, and various business ventures, including MrBeast Burger and Feastables.

In 2024, Forbes estimated MrBeast’s net worth at $85 million and ranked him as the top creator on its Top Creators list. However, court documents from a lawsuit related to MrBeast Burgers revealed that he earned $223 million in 2023 and was projected to make $700 million in 2024.
