Former Indian captain MS Dhoni’s Ranchi residence has undergone a transformation and is becoming a must-visit spot for cricket fans. The house now features Dhoni’s iconic jersey number 7, displayed on the outer wall, along with a tribute to his signature helicopter shot — a stroke that became synonymous with his legendary finishing skills.

Dhoni’s deep connection with the No.7 is well known. He wore it throughout his international career and continues to don it for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL. As a tribute to his legacy, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) retired the jersey number 7 after his international retirement.

The house has a specially designed wall that has collage of his iconic shots. According to reports, the Jharkhand State Housing Board allotted the land to Dhoni in 2009, which he later expanded by purchasing an adjacent plot. The house, named Shaurya, has now become a selfie spot for fans. Dhoni currently resides at his farmhouse in Ranchi’s Simaliya.

Dhoni’s bond with the number 7 goes far beyond just his jersey. Born on July 7, he shares a special connection with the seventh month of the year. Taking his affinity for the number even further, the former India captain also owns a lifestyle brand named ‘SEVEN’. For Dhoni, 7 isn’t just a number—it’s a legacy.
