In what is now being called a ‘GOAT-ed’ crossover, Vietnam-American voice actor, Aleks Le, who is the voice behind some of the most icon anime releases, finally met the man who inspired his high school acting debut. Taking to his official social media profiles, Demon Slayer and Solo Leveling star gushed about meeting English actor Charlie Cox of Daredevil fame. The two crossed paths at the ongoing New York Comic Con 2025.
Demon Slayer actor Aleks Le on meeting ‘Daredevil’ alter-ego Charlie Cox
“The 1st time I ever acted in my life was for my high school drama class, where I performed Matt Murdock’s confession monologue,” he wrote on X and Instagram. I got to thank Charlie Cox for inspiring me. He said ‘It’s so cool you get to play Daredevil now too & I’m glad it was you’. Coolest guy ever ngl.” The beloved anime voice star was most probably referring to the “confession scene” from the very first episode of the Daredevil opening season.
Aleks also shared a snap of him and Charlie posing together with big smiles. In a follow-up post, the award-winning anime voice actor, who lends his voice to Cox’s character in Season 4.5 of Marvel Rivals, also shared a years-old click of himself in school.
“Here’s what I looked like in that story btw,” he added on X. “while I joined that class on a whim & didn’t fall in love w/ acting right away, it was still the 1st hurdle I cleared (esp as someone with stage fright.) He told me that it was the same for him when he started. Such a chill guy fr.”

Fans’ instant takeaway from the click was how both leading stars of their respective industries were unexpectedly caught together in colour-coordinated outfits of the day. And Aleks didn’t stay behind in catching the similarities either. Responding to thrilled supporters on the Internet, he exclaimed, “I JUST NOTICED THIS LMAO,” adding in a separate comment, “Combined, we make 2 completed colour outfits.”
Given the implications of the multi-verse’s existence in both Marvel’s comic and cinematic universes, some even cheered on spotting “two variants together.”
About anime bigshot Aleks Le
The Demon Slayer VA was confirmed as the Daredevil voice in the video game Marvel Rivals earlier this month. Commenting under the official announcement post a week ago, Aleks called it “an honour of a LIFETIME.” At the time, he also confessed to have studied and implemented “the nuances of Charlie Cox’s performance tone, & dialect,” adding that the character meant a lot to him. And no we know why.
The 26-year-old has voiced characters in some of the biggest franchises across entertainment genres. From owning up to the animated life of Zenitsu Agatsuma in the Demon Slayer series, to becoming Ao Bing in Ne Zha 2, the highest-grossing animated and non-English language film of all time (as of now), he’s done it all.
Marvel fans may also have caught him as the voice of Amadeus Cho in the 2025 animated series Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man. His other iconic credits include Yoichi Nagumo in Sakamoto Days, Batman in DC Heroes United, Jin Enjoji in Dandadan, Sung Jinwoo in Solo Leveling, Mash in MASHLE: Magic and Muscles and many more.
