An eight-year-old girl from Assam, Binita Chhetry, has left the judges of Britain’s Got Talent, Indian politicians and netizens in awe with her energetic and mesmerising dance performance. The little girl’s breathtaking moves on the show earned her a roaring standing ovation from both the judges, host and even audience.

During her introduction on Britain’s Got Talent, Binita innocently expressed her dream of having a pink princess house. “My name is Binita Chhetry, and I am eight years old. I am from Assam, India. Britain’s Got Talent is my dream stage, and I want to win it. I would like to buy a Pink Princess House,” she said. 

The footage of the eight-year-old’s performance has since gone viral with many politicians, including Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, and now renowned industrialist Anand Mahindra sharing the clips with words of praise for her. 

Anand Mahindra shared the video of Binita’s enchanting act on X, writing, “Just 8 years old. World-class. Steel-willed; because that kind of mastery over her body comes only with intense practice. And with an unwavering focus on her ambition, even if it’s just a ‘Pink Princess House.’ She’s my #MondayMotivation.”

Assam CM, Nagaland’s Tourism Minister’s praises

Binita’s mesmerising performance has also drawn appreciation from political leaders across India. The Assam Chief Minister posted the video with caption: “My best wishes to the little one and hope she is able to buy a Pink Princess House.”
