ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 Full Schedule: The 13th edition of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup will officially begin on September 30, with India and Sri Lanka hosting the event together. This marks India’s fourth time as a host, having twice come close to winning the trophy. Their most recent near-win was in 2017, when Mithali Raj led the team to a tense final that ended in a narrow loss to England at Lord’s.
Eight Teams, 31 Matches, and 34 Days of Action
Over 34 days, a total of 31 matches will be played. The tournament opens on Tuesday, September 30, and concludes with the final on Sunday, November 2. Most matches will start at 3 p.m. IST, except the New Zealand vs England fixture on October 26, which will begin at 11 a.m. IST. India qualifies automatically as a host and will be joined by Australia, New Zealand, England, Sri Lanka, and South Africa from the Women’s Championship rankings. Pakistan and Bangladesh earned their spots via the World Cup Qualifier in Lahore.
Each side will play seven matches during the group stage, with the top four progressing to the semifinals. “Winning five of those games will likely ensure a spot in the semifinals,” experts say, underscoring the need for strong performances in the early rounds.
Venues and Live Broadcast
Matches will take place across DY Patil Stadium (Navi Mumbai), ACA Stadium (Guwahati), Holkar Stadium (Indore), ACA–VDCA Stadium (Vizag), and R Premadasa Stadium (Colombo). Fans can watch the action live on the Star Sports Network, or stream matches through the JioHotstar app and website.
