IND Vs PAK 2022 T20 World Cup Highlights: It’s the mother of all cricket rivalries in the world! It’s India vs Pakistan! As Rohit Sharma’s squad readies to take on Babar Azam & co at New York’s Nassau County International Cricket Stadium on June 9 (Sunday) for ICC T20 World Cup 2024 league match, here’s a throwback at the T20 WC 2022 Highlights when the critical partnership between Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya stole the victory from Pakistan at iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground.

IND Vs PAK 2022 T20 World Cup: India were chasing a target of 160

Back in 2022, India played against Pakistan in game number 16 of ICC T20 World Cup in Australia. India had restricted Pakistan to a sub-par total of 159/8 in 20 overs. Two half-centuries by Shah Masood and Iftikhar Ahmed lifted Pakistan to a decent total. In reply, India were to chase down the target of 160 runs. However, Pakistani bowlers had demolished India’s chase and they were reduced to 31/4 and it seemed that Pakistan would repeat the 2021 performance of defeating India in T20 World Cup. However, Kohli and Pandya brought back India in the game. Kohli was particularly spectacular in his batting. The star cricketer’s unbeaten knock of 82 runs clinched the victory for India.
