Narsingh Yadav who has been on toes about his Rio Olympics journey has failed another doping test, which was taken on July 5. Narsingh Yadav’s coach Jagmal Singh arrived today at National Anti Doping Agency in Delhi for hearing in the case, when the result for the second doping test (B Sample) was announced in negative, leading to more disappointment for the 74kg freestyle category wrestler.
Yadav had alleged mixing of banned substances in his meals and investigations are mid way as the decision to represent India at the prestigious 2016 Rio Olympics keeps hanging.
Names like Wrestler Praveen Rana were emerging as possible replacements for Yadav, but the Sports Minister Vijay Goel said that chances of the same are slim. On the same, WFI President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has given his word that Praveen Rana’s name has been sent and accepted too.

This will surely be a big development as Narsingh Yadav’s flight to Olympics 2016 began with a strong opposition of Olympic medalist wrestler Sushil Kumar and now this big a setback.
Narsingh’s family had however claimed their son’s innocence, further adding that they’ll go and protest outside PM Narendra Modi’s office if a fair trial was not served to the ‘son-of-the-land’.
