IPL Auction Day 2 2025 Highlights, Players List: 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi bought by Rajasthan Royals; auction ends

The IPL auction has come to an end.

Raj Limbani, set at Rs 30 lakh base price, goes unsold.

At Rs 75 lakh, Lizaad Williams goes to Mumbai Indians. His base price was the same as his first and last bid call.

Kwena Maphaka, set at a base price of Rs 75 lakh, gets bids from RCB and RR. Rajasthan bids 95 lakh, RCB comes with Rs 1 crore bidding. Royals take it up a notch and Bangalore reverts with higher bid. Royals take the lead with Rs 1.50 crore. And it goes to the RR.

West Indies opener and former CPL champion Brandon King entered the auction with a base price of 75 lakh. However, he went unsold at the IPL auction.

Eshan Malinga enters the auction with a base price of 30 lakh and hails from Sri Lanka. SRH start the bidding, but RR quickly join in, sparking an intense bidding war. The battle heats up as the price soars past the 1 crore mark.

Ehsan Malinga has represented the Jaffna Kings in the Lanka Premier League and has been a part of Sri Lanka A’s program. Earlier this year, he also trained at the MRF Pace Foundation in Chennai alongside all-rounder Chamindu Wickramasinghe."

RR briefly take the lead at 1 crore, but SRH are relentless. In the end, SRH secure Ehsan Malinga for 1.20 crore, adding a promising pacer to their squad.

Mumbai all-rounder Suryash Shedge enters the auction at a base price of 30 lakh. PBKS make the opening bid, and it turns out to be the final one. Shedge is sold to PBKS, where he’ll have the chance to work under the guidance of Ricky Ponting. PBKS have been notably active during this accelerated phase of the auction.

Vipraj Nigam, fresh from the UP T20 League, enters the auction with a base price of 30 lakh. DC and MI engage in a bidding war for the talented player.

RR take a moment to deliberate but opt out, leaving DC in the lead at 50 lakh. Ultimately, Nigam is sold to DC for 50 lakh.

Indian fast-bowler Umesh Yadav, set at a base price of Rs 2 crore, finds no bid. The player remains unsold.

Indian batter and spinner Sai Kishore sees bidding war between Punjab and Hyderabad. After a final bid of Rs 90 lakh from Punjab, Gujarat goes for Right to Match. Punjab rises it with Rs 2 crore. GT wants its player back. Kishore retained by GT.

Batter and spinner Deepak Hooda sold at Rs 1.70 crore to CSK. The base price for the player was set at Rs 75 lakh.

England spinner and batter Moeen Ali goes unsold.

Set at a base price of Rs 1.50 crore, Sherfane goes to Gujarat Titans for Rs 2.60 crore.

Batter from NZ Finn Allen, set at a base price of Rs 2 crore, goes unsold.
