As the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) took on the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their home ground on Friday, the internet was left divided after MSD;s dismissal at just 1 run. He came to bat as the eighth batter facing Sunil Narine’s bowling. As the ball crashed into his pads, the on-field declared him out but raising his finger but the CSK-star instantly asked for a review.

As per the UltraEdge report, there were fine spikes when the ball gushes past the bat. Despite of that, the third umpire decided to stay with the existing decision leading to a lot of criticism on the internet.

A user on X shared the screen-grabs of the DRS review defending MSD’s alleged unfair dismissal. Pointing at the UltraEdge spike, fans came at the third umpire’s decision as CSK lost a review.
