Jitesh Sharma-led India A started its campaign in a dominant style against the UAE and hit 297/4 in 20 overs. The massive score came with the help of Suryavanshi’s century and an 83-run innings from the skipper. The bowlers then ensured a straightforward finish, restricting the UAE to 149/7 with only Sohaib Khan offering resistance.

Pakistan A also entered the battle with a win in their opening match. The Irfan Khan-led side overcame Oman by 40 runs, defending 220 with a firm bowling effort. Pakistan’s attack held strong under pressure in the death overs, giving them a confidence boost ahead of the high-voltage face-off with India.

The match will be played at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha.
