Sri Lanka is all set to take on Bangladesh in the 38th match of the ongoing ICC World Cup today. While both teams do not have a chance to qualify for the semis, winning today’s match will improve in improving their standings at the points table. The match may not have an impact on the ongoing World Cup, but will give both sides a chance to qualify for the ICC Champions Trophy in 2025.

It may be noted that while Sri Lanka is currently standing in seventh position in the points table with two wins in their seven matches till now, getting them four points, Bangladesh is at ninth with just one in seven matches, garnering them two points.
