The Big Bash League (BBL) 2025-26 is currently underway in Australia. Eight teams are fighting it out for the title with the final on January 25. At the outset six Pakistan players- Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf and Hasan Ali were set to feature in the tournament.

However, Brisbane Heat star Shaheen Afridi was ruled out of the tournament with a knee injury which he picked up midway in the tournament, ending with 2 wickets from 4 outings. Here is a look at how the rest of the Pakistan players have fared in the competition so far.

Babar Azam

Pakistan batter Babar Azam has scored more than 115* runs in 5 innings with two half-centuries. His strike rate still remains a talked about area at just over 110. He is playing for the Sydney Sixers in this edition of the competition.

Mohammad Rizwan

Mohammad Rizwan is plying his trade for the Melbourne Renegades in the BBL 2025-26. He has scored 58 runs in 4 innings at an average of 14.50 and a strike rate of 100. After his 10-ball 6 in his recent outing, Rizwan is receiving serious backlash on social media.

Shadab Khan

Shadab Khan is playing for Sydney Thunder in BBL 2025-26. With the bat he has scored 104 runs in 4 innings. With the ball, he has been more than handy, picking 7 wickets from 5 matches at an economy of 8.11. His best spell in the tournament saw him pick wickets for 24 runs.

Haris Rauf

Melbourne Stars pacer Haris Rauf is currently in the race to be the leading wicket-taker in the tournament. Rauf has picked up 9 wickets from 4 matches and is only 1 wicket away from joining Jack Edwards who is currently the leading wicket-taker of the tournament. While Rauf averages 14.11 and has an economy of 7.93, Edwards economy is more impressive at 7.27.

Hasan Ali

Hasan Ali is playing for Adelaide Strikers in BBL 2025-26. He has picked up 6 wickets in 4 innings at an economy of 8.40. 2/25 has been his best figures in a match in this edition of the tournament.
