GST Meeting: Key sectors in focus
Auto, FMCG, cement and insurance are among the key sectors in focus. As the rate rationalisation is expected to benefit most of these sectors. However, the 40% tax on ‘sin goods’ is something that the street continues to watch out for. Apprehensions about how this could affect demand is being mulled even as we await the formal announcement tomorrow.
